Description
A guided motorcycle tour through the foothills of Mount Meru in Arusha, Tanzania. You will be accompanied by our guide during your trip as you enjoy the stunning landscape and glimpses of local life.
The tour begins with a one-hour trip to a somewhat unlikely site, a Polish cemetery. Visitors will learn about the little known history of some 5,000 refugees who arrived in Tanzania after fleeing Europe during WW2. We then proceed to Mangalia Waterfalls where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters that flow down from Mount Meru. On the way back down we will have a closer look at Tanzanian culture by exploring three villages, Akheri, Patandi and Mavinuni. This is followed by a short stop at Lake Duluti, where we will enjoy a drink and the lake view for 20 minutes before returning to the meeting point. Clients may arrange with us for additional activities at the lake (canoeing, sport fishing etc.) if they so wish.
