Day 1: Machame Gate (1,640m) to Machame Camp (2,835m).

Your journey starts at Machame Gate, where you'll complete registration and meet your guide and porters.
Trek through dense rainforests with rich flora and fauna, including colobus monkeys.
Arrive at Machame Camp, your first night's accommodation.
Distance: Approximately 11 kilometers.
Time: 5-7 hours.
Day 2: Machame Camp (2,835m) to Shira Camp (3,750m).

Depart Machame Camp and ascend through the moorland zone.
Enjoy panoramic views of the Shira Plateau and distant peaks.
Arrive at Shira Camp, your lodging for the night.
Distance: Approximately 5 kilometers.
Time: 4-6 hours.
Day 3: Shira Camp (3,750m) to Barranco Camp (3,960m).

Traverse the Shira Plateau, a vast and surreal lunar landscape.
Hike up to Lava Tower (4,600m) for acclimatization and descend to Barranco Camp.
Pass through the alpine desert zone with stunning vistas.
Arrive at Barranco Camp for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3,960m) to Karanga Camp (4,035m).

Traverse the Karanga Valley, offering panoramic views of the Southern Glaciers.
Reach Karanga Camp for your overnight stay.
Distance: Approximately 5 kilometers.
Time: 4-5 hours.
Day 5: Karanga Camp (4,035m) to Barafu Camp (4,673m).

Ascend to Barafu Camp, your final basecamp before the Summit Attempt.
The terrain becomes arid and desolate as you approach the alpine desert zone.
Rest and prepare for the challenging summit night.
Distance: Approximately 4 kilometers.
Time: 3-4 hours.
Day 6: Summit Day – Barafu Camp (4,673m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) to Mweka Camp (3,100m).

Begin the ascent in the middle of the night, aiming for the summit of Uhuru Peak.
Witness a breathtaking sunrise at the Roof of Africa.
Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and then continue down to Mweka Camp.
Distance: Approximately 17 kilometers (including the summit).
Time: 12-16 hours (including breaks and summit time).
Day 7: Mweka Camp (3,100m) to Mweka Gate (1,640m).

Descend through lush rainforests, with the scenery becoming increasingly green and vibrant.
Reach Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates and celebrate your achievement.
Transfer back to your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi.
Distance: Approximately 10 kilometers.
Time: 3-4 hours.
