Embark on a 6-day trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route. Enjoy the comfort of mountain huts and the convenience of a well-developed trail.

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: Arusha – Marangu Gate (1,860 m) – Mandara hut (2,700 m)
After breakfast, transfer to the Marangu Gate, the starting point of your trek. Begin your ascent through the rainforest, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. Arrive at the Mandara hut in the afternoon.

Day 3: Mandara Hut (2,700 m) – Horombo Hut (3,700 m)
Continue your trek through the rainforest and into the moorland. Pass by Maundi Crater and enjoy panoramic views of the Kenyan plains. Arrive at the Horombo hut in the afternoon.

Day 4: Horombo Hut (3,700 m) – Zebra Rocks (4,020 m) – Horombo Hut (3,700 m)
Acclimatize to the altitude with a short hike to Zebra Rocks. Return to the Horombo hut for lunch and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 5: Horombo Hut (3,700 m) – Kibo Hut (4,700 m)
Continue your ascent to the Kibo hut, the final stop before the summit. Pass by the last water point and enjoy views of the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.

Day 6: Kibo Hut (4,700 m) – Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) – Horombo Hut (3,700 m)
Wake up at midnight and begin your ascent to the summit. Reach the summit in time for sunrise and take in the breathtaking views. Descend to the Kibo hut for a rest and then continue to the Horombo hut.

Day 7: Horombo Hut (3,700 m) – Marangu Gate (1,860 m) – Arusha
Descend to the Marangu Gate, stopping for lunch along the way. Transfer back to Arusha and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 8: Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport
Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
