Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Morning: After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up to start your safari. Begin the drive from Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 3 or 4 hours. Named after the Tarangire River, which is the park's sole water source during dry seasons, Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. The park spans about 2,850 square kilometers.

Midday: Enjoy a day of game viewing with a picnic lunch overlooking the river to provide a break from the drive.

Evening: Conclude your game drive and proceed to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Morning: After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the Rift Valley and spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, zebras, monkeys, and various bird species. The highlight of the NCA is the Ngorongoro Crater, an impressive volcanic caldera.

Midday: Enter the crater to witness a rich concentration of wildlife, including the best opportunities to see black rhinos and lion prides. Observe colorful flamingos, diverse water birds, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous antelope species.

Afternoon/Evening: After your crater exploration, return to either Moshi or Arusha.
