Description
Ride to the top of Mt. Pilatus by aerial cable car to take part in easy hikes through the Alpine scenery. Descend the mountain on the world's steepest cogwheel railway, and then cruise back to Lucerne by boat.
Depart Lucerne and relax aboard a comfortable coach on the drive to Kriens. Then, climb aboard the panoramic gondolas and journey to Fräkmüntegg to board the aerial Dragon Ride cable car up the mountain. Get magnificent views of the snow-capped peaks from the panoramic windows.
Arrive at the top of Mt. Pilatus, 2,132 meters above sea level and feel like a bird as you survey your surroundings. Hike to the summit or venture down the Dragon Trail where dragons with healing powers were thought to live in the Middle Ages.
Relax on the panoramic terrace and take in the magnificent vistas of the mountains and lakes. Eat at one of the restaurants to enjoy lunch on top of the world.

• May 7-25 2022: depending on snow conditions, the cogwheel train may be replaced by the aerial cable car
• From October 17-23 and November 5-20 2022: the ascent will be made by cable car, the descent will be by cogwheel train (no boat ride) but a lunch voucher will be included
• From October 24 to November 4 2022: the ascent and descent will be made by cogwheel train, due to revision of the cable car (no boat ride) but a lunch voucher will be included

Your tour departs from Frankenstrasse 2-4 in a side street next to Lucerne train station. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure and wait on the sidewalk with your confirmation details and valid ID ready.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
