Discover the heart of the Swiss Alps on a full-day tour to the idyllic Bernese Oberland. Explore the Jungfrau region and enjoy a scenic train ride between the resorts of Grindelwald and Interlaken.
Depart Lucerne and journey to the magnificent mountains of the Bernese Oberland by coach. Marvel at the splendid countryside as you drive to the beautiful resort town of Interlaken in the Jungfrau region.
After an orientation stop in Interlaken, continue to the village of Grindelwald, more than 1,000 meters above sea level. Get stunning views of the surroundings, including the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains.
Use your leisure time to ride the funicular to the terrace of Grindelwald First (optional, not included). Go for a walk or rent a Trotti bike (a scooter-like bike without a seat) and experience the dramatic scenery from a different perspective.
Then, take a scenic - unescorted - train ride back to Interlaken, where you can spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Browse the shops or go to the Harder Kulm viewpoint by funicular for stunning views of the surrounding area (optional, not included).
Breathe in the fresh mountain air before meeting your guide again for the return journey to Lucerne and the end of the tour.

• For the unescorted train journey from Grindelwald to Interlaken, you will receive tickets and detailed written information
• Please note that Harder Kulm is open from March 29th - December 1st, 2024, and Mount First is open from December 16th, 2023 - October 28th, 2024
Departure from Frankenstrasse 2-4 in a side street next to Lucerne train station. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure with confirmation details and valid ID, and wait on the sidewalk.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
