The tour begins with a warm "Grüezi" and takes you through the picturesque old town of Bern. Over a distance of just under 4 kilometres, you will discover the city's most important sights in around 3 hours, including the Zytglogge tower, the town hall and the impressive Bern Cathedral.
It's like being shown Bern by a good friend who knows the city like the back of his hand and has many exciting stories and anecdotes to tell.
The tour also takes you to the banks of the Aare, which flows through Bern and offers opportunities for walking, picnicking and even swimming. If it's warm enough, you can refresh yourself in the Aare in between.
Other stops include the city gates, the city theatre, bridges over the Aare, beautiful fountains, the Einstein House and the town hall, before the tour ends at the impressive Federal Palace.
