Day 01 (Kandy- Dambulla/ Sigiriya- (Approx.2.5 hours Drive)

• 08.00: Pick-up from your Hotel in Kandy & Proceed to Dambulla/ Sigiriya via Matale
• 09.30: During your journey, make a stop at a spice garden in Matale to explore the diverse range of spices for which Sri Lanka is renowned. Learn about their cultivation and preparation methods, and you will also have the opportunity to purchase spices.
• 10.30: you'll visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock rises 160 meters above the surrounding area and houses over 80 caves. Among these caves, five contain fascinating statues and murals that depict the life of Gautama Buddha. The caves boast 153 Buddha statues, three Sri Lankan king statues, and statues of various gods and goddesses, including Vishnu and Ganesha. The stunning murals, covering an area of 2,100 square meters, add to the temple's grandeur.
• 12.00 pm: Delight in a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant (Payment Direct)
• 14.00: Prepare to be amazed as you climb and explore the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This ancient marvel, built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century, stands proudly 660 feet high. Located in Sri Lanka's central province, near Dambulla, in the northern Matale district, this fortress is often referred to as the Lion's Rock or Sinhagiri. Ascend the 1200 steps to the top and marvel at this UNESCO World Heritage Site, considered one of the Wonders of the World. The ingenious water garden irrigation and the remarkable lion carving at the entrance, which is still well-preserved, showcase the advanced architectural and engineering skills of the time. The well-designed ramparts and moats surrounding the rock serve as a testament to the fortress's formidable defense.

Day 02 Dambulla/ Sigiriya- Trincomalee or Pasikuda

• 08.00: Breakfast at Hotel
• 09.00: Proceed to Polonnaruwa, another ancient city steeped in history.
• 11.30: Embark on a guided 3.5-hour tour of Polonnaruwa Ancient City, a remarkable World Heritage Site from the 12th century. Marvel at the palaces, dagobas, and temples that exemplify the brilliance of Sri Lankan historical craftsmanship. During the tour, visit key landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Nissankamulla Palace, Gal Viharaya, Thuparama stupa, Lankathilaka stupa, Vatadage, Rankoth Vehera, and Parakramabahu Statue, each holding captivating stories from the past.
• 15.30: As the tour concludes, transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Trincomalee or Pasikuda for overnight (End-of Services)
