Day 1 : COLOMBO – SIGIRIYA – KANDY
Sigiriya Museum
This well-curated museum includes a detailed diorama of the Sigiriya site, offering an excellent overview and insights into its cultural significance beyond its natural beauty. One theory presented here is that Sigiriya may have once been a Buddhist monastery, although the widely accepted view is that it served as a palace or fortress.
Dambulla Cave Temple
Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is located in central Sri Lanka, 148 kilometers east of Colombo and 72 kilometers north of Kandy. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in the country.
Sigiriya – The Ancient Rock Fortress
Rising dramatically from the central plains, the striking rock formation of Sigiriya is perhaps Sri Lanka's most awe-inspiring landmark. Sheer rock walls lead up to a flat-topped summit with the remnants of an ancient civilization, believed to have been the center of Kassapa’s brief kingdom. Early mornings reveal sweeping views over mist-covered forests.

Day 2 KANDY-NUWARA ELIYA- ELLA
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
The golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth enshrines Sri Lanka's most significant Buddhist relic—a tooth of the Buddha. During puja (offerings or prayers), devotees and tourists can enter the highly secured room where the tooth is kept. Although the relic itself is not visible, it rests within a gold, dagoba-shaped casket, which holds six more caskets of decreasing size. Alongside the main temple, the complex includes smaller temples, shrines, and museums.
Glenloch Tea Factory
Located in Katukithula in the Nuwara Eliya District, Glenloch Tea Factory lies along the route from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. The tea plantations here are meticulously maintained with careful planting, soil conservation, and fertilization methods. With its pristine waterfalls and natural beauty, Sri Lanka provides the ideal environment for producing some of the world’s most famous tea.
Ramboda Waterfall
Standing at 109 meters, Ramboda Falls is the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and ranks 729th globally. It is located in the Pussellawa area along the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass.
