Bird watching in the western province of Sri Lanka - Pick up and drop at a convenient locaion.
Pick up from the Hotel at 5 am (Time flexible). Since the destination locates 40 km away from the heart of Colombo City its recommended to start the journey early from Colombo.
Reach the birding destination around 6.30 am. Park opens for visitors at 7 am. Till then we explore the surrounding area which is very potential to spot many birds in the morning.
Breakfast around 7 am at the small cafeteria inside the park.
Birdwatching trails 7.30 - 10.30 am. Planning to spot a minimum of 50 species including of minimum 5 endemics if the weather is good.
Return from the Park back to Colombo
