Description
This 2-day tour take you to super-diversity hot-spot of Sinharaja. Whilst there you will take an elephant safari at the Udawalawe National Park, throughout which you will see a large gathering of orphan elephants at the transit camp.
Day 1:
You will be picked up at 6:00AM from your hotel in Bentota, from where your English-speaking driver/guide will take you to the Sinharaja Rainforest. You'll travel for about 4 hours from your beach hotel, driving through the beautiful countryside en route to your destination.
After checking in to your hotel you will be briefed before your Sinharaja trek, which lasts about 4 hours. From there your nature expert will take you through the forest whilst explaining important things to you along the way. On the same day, you will take a village tour throughout which you will also explore farmlands, lakes, temples, and much more.
Day 2:
Following an early breakfast you will leave for Udawalawe at 6:00AM, from where you will drive for around 2 hours. Later, enjoy a 3-hour safari at the Udawalawe National Park, following which you will be returned to your accommodation in Bentota.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• The trek at Sinharaja may last up to 5 hours and the rocky and rugged terrain can be difficult without proper shoes
• A raincoat or an umbrella is recommended due to the sudden frequent rain in the forest
• There may be leeches in the forest, however they are not harmful to humans (you will be provided with leech repellent)
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
You must keep social distance while in vehicles
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds
You are required to bring and wear a mask
You must fill out a travel information form
You will receive a mandatory temperature check

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
