Your trip includes a wildlife safari at Minneriya National Park, where you will observe the elephants roaming in the jungle. These charming creatures engage in mischief, drag each other by their tails. Prepare yourself for a minor challenge and ascend the 1200+ steps marked with well-defined paths and staircases to the summit of Sigiriya Lion Rock. Capture a glimpse of the breathtaking 360-degree view of the entire area from above, where each corner offers a distinctive perspective. As you traverse the lush, verdant rainforests and bamboo forests of Ella, you will be presented with a stunning, 25-meter-high and 91-meter-long stone Nine Arch Bridge that emerges from the mist. At the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Galle Fort, you can witness the sky altering its colors in shades of orange as the sun sets and meets the blue waters of the sea, providing one of the most breathtaking panoramic views.
Day 1: Colombo-Kandy
Obtain transportation from Colombo to Kandy. Check in and unwind upon your arrival. Subsequently, embark on an upper lake drive and witness the renowned Kandyan dance performance. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Kandy-Sigiriya
Transfer from the hotel to Sigiriya for an excursion. Pass through the renowned Lion Gate and ascend the staircases to the fortress's summit. Take in the breathtaking vistas of the neighboring area from the summit. Subsequently, return to the accommodation for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Ella
