01. What happens on a typical day on Morning or Afternoon Safari?
A. Pick-up time at 4.00 a.m. - in and around the Bentota/ Aluthgama/ Beruwala/ Induruwa/ Maha Induruwa area. All pick up times - (Morning Safari - 4.00 a.m./ 4.30 a.m./ Afternoon Safari - 11.00 a.m./ 11.30 a.m.)
Adjust the times in the itinerary according to the pickup time.
B. Get down from the transfer vehicle (Air-conditioned Car or minivan) and get into the Safari vehicle - at Udawalawe at around 6.45 a.m.
C. Wildlife safari/ Game Drive (7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.)
D. Break at Udawalawe (20-30 minutes)
This will give you time to enjoy your breakfast
(You can additionally buy breakfast from us - USD 8 Per Person)
F. Visit the Feeding time of the Elephant Transit Home (Feeding time is at 10.30 a.m. in the morning / 2.30 p.m. in the Afternoon)
Get the experience of feeding the adorable baby elephants.
G. Get down from the Safari Vehicle and get into the transfer vehicle (Air-conditioned Car or minivan) - at Udawalawe at around 11.00 a.m.
H. Drop off at around 2.00 p.m. at Bentota/ Aluthgama/ Beruwala/ Induruwa/ Maha Induruwa area.
In the Morning Safari, we first visit the Udawalawa National Park, but in the Afternoon Safari, we first visit the Elephant Transit Home. So, adjust the itinerary accordingly.
02. What happens on a typical day on a Full-day Safari?
A. Details related to Pickup time and duration to transfer are same as above.
B. Get into the Safari vehicle - at Udawalawe at around 6.45 a.m.
C. 1st Game Drive (7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.)
D. Break at Udawalawe (20-30 minutes)
This will give you time to enjoy your breakfast

E. 2nd Game Drive (10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.)
F. Lunch Break (1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.)

H. Transfer back from Udawalawe to the pick up location (3 hours)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please be informed that the entrance fees for the Udawalawe National Park and Elephant Transit Home are not included in this package.
Fees must be paid in cash in Sri Lankan Rupees (There are no facilities at present at the Udawalawe National Park and Elephant Transit Home entrances to make cash payments in foreign currencies)
To run the safari operation financially smoothly, it requires a payment of at least two adults for every booking.
The children aged 5 or below will be given the chance to ride the safari free of charge. Only 50% of the price will be charged for children above 5 and below 12 years old. (Letting the future guardians of the planet Earth take their first steps in experiencing to be aligned with nature)
Children below 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
