Minneriya national park is where you see the largest Elephant gathering of the world. The best activity that goes along the Safari is a Village experience - This is a bundle of both in one!
Our Safari jeep will pick you up from your hotel in Sigiriya/Habarana. We will then take you to the village. There you will experience a Bullock cart ride; This is how our ancestors moved around!
Then you will go to the village reservoir. This is an agricultural village so the reservoir is a part of life. People cross the lake using canoes and your next experience is going to a farm house in on of those Canoes. The Paddler will make you a beautiful Lotus leaf hat and a neckless with a Lilly stem in the water; these are old romantic gestures of the village life...You'll then go to the village and engage in cooking with the house ladies and eat your lunch at the farm house. Later they will drop you back at the jeep by a Tuk-Tuk; the common village taxi nowadays.
Then it's Safari time. Our Safari Jeep will take you to Minneriya National Park. You'll do a 2.5-3 hours Safari game drive there to find herds of Elephants at the reservoir and some other very interesting wild-life including Deer and Crocodiles along the drive.
Later, we'll drop you back at your hotel in Sigiriya/Habrana.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
