Bike Tour through the nature park to the Turia River bed! A breathtaking nature bike road with picnic stops at cool locations!
The length of the route is 33 km. We take a metro and go to the Liria metro station. The beginning of the route is at an altitude of 140 m, the end is at 30 m, so we go part of the way downhill, the rest is flat. We will have a long break in the barbecue area with benches and tables (13th km of the journey) and a small stop in the forest on the river bank (20th km).
The route starts in the town of Liria on bicycle path which goes among fields and gardens. We will go down the hill on perfect asphalt and admire the mountain views. After 6 km the bike path ends, we will ride for a couple of kilometers along gravel roads among the gardens and reach Turia river. Then we will drive 15 km through the Turia Natural Park. The road picturesquely winds along the banks of the Turia River, periodically crossing it on wooden bridges, and dives into real tunnels under arches of reeds. The murmur of water, the singing of birds, clean air and lots of vegetation. In the end of the route there are 5 km of asphalt with no traffic among orange orchards.
