The Animal Academy is a non-profit association dedicated to rescuing animals from abuse and/or abandonment. We currently shelter over 200 farm animals, including donkeys, goats, horses, sheep, pigs etc. The association is also involved in various conservational projects on the island of Fuerteventura, and in the Canary Islands.
This is a guided tour where you will see the animals we have rescued, learn their stories and become familiarised with the project.
This is not a petting zoo
By coming to our tour, you are directly helping these animals.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
