Experience the best of Cartagena on this fun half-day excursion that’s been designed especially for cruise ship passengers. You’ll see historic sites such as Las Bovedas, the Church of St. Peter Claver, and lots more.
You’ll be met at the pier by a smiling member of the tour operator’s staff, who will be holding a sign with your name on it. The 4-hour tour begins with a drive around the Manga neighborhood to see the Moorish and Republican houses.
Stop at San Felipe Fort, one of the most outstanding strongholds built in America during colonial times. Follow this with a visit to Las Bovedas, a handicraft store that is filled with souvenirs of all kinds.
Enjoy a walking tour around the old city (approximately 55 minutes in duration). During the walk you’ll stop to visit the Church of St. Peter Claver and the church’s museum (around 30 minutes).
Head next to the modern side of the city for a sightseeing tour and for views of the Bay of Cartagena. Your last stop will be at the Emerald Museum, where a professional guide will teach you how to recognize an original Colombian emerald (30-minute visit).
After this unique excursion, you’ll be transferred back to the pier.

Zone 1 at the pier in the Cartagena cruise port.
Directions: upon disembarkation, walk approximately 500 feet along the pier to Zone 1 (where the containers are). A representative will be waiting for you here wearing a polo labelled 'Guianza Express SAS' and holding a sign with your name on it.
He/she will then walk you to the bus/staging area (10-15 minute walk). A vehicle will be parked in the parking area of the cruise ship pier. Please do not take the shuttle bus.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
