The landscape begins to change dramatically and as you draw near the Timanfaya National Park.
The volcanic eruptions of the 18th and 19th century formed this amazing landscape in a dramatic process of creation and destruction in the same instant. Your visit to Timanfaya will afford you a better understanding of life here and the origins of volcanoes. Nearby are the camels, if you wish you can take a ride for 6€ per person for 20 minutes.
