The AOWD course is about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation, buoyancy, deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing, depending on your interests.
You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives available in Gran Canaria. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.
During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time. But there is so much more to explore and see.
The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks, Night Dives, Drift Dives, and many more.
Who should take this course?
PADI (Junior or Adult) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enrol in an Advanced Open Water Diver course.

You must be a certified open water diver to join this program. Please bring your passport/ID, dive certification, and logbook with you.
You should be fit and healthy when enrolling for any scuba activity. If you have any medical issues, please check with your doctor prior to arrival to determine whether you are fit to dive. Bring medical certification if needed.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
