Walking along Leon and Castillo streets, as well as Virgen del Rosario street, we reach the epicenter of the city, where majestic civil and religious buildings are erected, such as the Town Hall, the Cabildo building and the Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, a symbol of the city in neoclassical style. The Unamuno House Museum, dedicated to one of the great thinkers of the 20th century in Spain, who was exiled on this island, is another point of interest that deserves to be visited.
Continuing along Primero de Mayo Street, a busy commercial and pedestrian artery, we head towards the south of the city, where the Chico Pier is located, the first port in the city and which gives its name to the most popular beach loved by locals. inhabitants of Puerto del Rosario.
