The Camí Vell de Queralbs to Núria, used for centuries by pilgrims as a path to the sanctuary, is a path full of history and legends. The Núria Sanctuary is located in the heart of the Pyrenees, surrounded by many peaks of 2,800 meters (9,200 feet) that form a mountain circus known as “l’Olla de Núria”. To get down from Vall de Núria, which is about 2,000 meters (6,562 feet) above sea level, take the rack railway “Cremallera de Núria”, a beautiful route that runs 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) and descends about 1,000 (3,281 feet) meters to Queralbs.
