Visit the famous De Wildt Cheetah Sanctuary. See the world's fastest mammals up close, along with various other animals at the reserve. Entrance fee and transport is included.
This tour begins with collection from hotels in either Johannesburg or Pretoria, from where you will be taken to the Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre. This is situated in the Magaliesberg mountains, very close to Hartebeestpoortdam. The center is a captive breeding facility for cheetahs and other animals.
On this tour, you will get up close and personal with the world's fastest land animal, the cheetah. You will also learn more about the lappet-faced vulture, wild dogs, the serval, and other animals, on an open-vehicle game drive with guides. The cheetah run needs to be specially pre-booked and is only available in the mornings and on certain days. After the visit you will be transported back to your hotel safely.
