4 Day Kapama Safari from Johannesburg

Day 1 – Travel from Johannesburg to Kapama Private Game Reserve
(Travel time from Johannesburg to Kapama is 6 and a half hours)
14:00 to 15:30- Check-in at pre-booked accommodation and have lunch.
15:30 to late -Leisure time
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the friendly staff at your luxury pre-booked accommodation. After a long drive, you will get to relax on the patio and witness the calm wild scenery while enjoying the refreshments offered by the lodge.
DAY 2: MORNING & AFTERNOON SAFARI
Morning 3-hour safari
We will wake up early at 5:00 am for some tea, coffee, homemade pastries, and fresh fruit, this will help fuel us up as we prepare ourselves to go explore Kapama Private Game Reserve. Don’t forget to get out your cameras and prepare them for the ultimate safari experience. At 6:00 you will board a sturdy 4x4 open safari vehicle, equipped with expert guides and drivers who will navigate the terrain with ease. We will get an opportunity to watch as the sun rises, casting a golden glow over the landscape. Every explorer deserves a break, so we will find a nice quiet place to stop and enjoy our drinks and snacks. At 09:00, your designated driver will take you back to the lodge for breakfast.
Afternoon 4-hour safari
At 16:00 we will gather again for some refreshments in preparation to resume our journey in the afternoon safari. We will depart at 16:30. As we venture into the heart of the park, our guides will share extensive knowledge, ensuring a rich and informative experience. As you are guided through the wilderness you will get to hear the lion roar or the elephant trumpet... hold steady, they are not coming for you! Refreshment stops will be made along the way. We will make our return to the lodge at 19:00 for dinner.
DAY 3: MORNING & AFTERNOON SAFARI
We will wake up at 05:00 am just before the sun rises for some morning tea and chats. The excitement continues as we hop on board the safari vehicle at 06:00 to journey our way. We are in for a bird-watching opportunity, as we witness the distinct kinds of African beauties chirp and flit through the trees. Smell the earthy scent of the savannah and the sweet aroma of acacia trees surrounding. Nature has never been so beautiful! At 09:00 your designated guide will take you back to the lodge for a lovely full breakfast buffet.
Afternoon 4-hour safari
Fueling up is mandatory for an adventurer, we will have some refreshments at the lodge at 16:00. Smell the earthy scent of the savannah and the sweet aroma of acacia trees surrounding. Nature has never been so beautiful! At 16:30 we depart for the sunset safari. Watch with great excitement as we spot a pride of lions lazing in the shade or a herd of elephants drinking from a watering hole. Refreshment stops are made along the way. Then finally, at 19:00 we will be back for dinner hosted by the lodge.
DAY 4: Transfer from Kapama River Lodge to Johannesburg
We will pick you up at 10:30 and drop you off at your designated drop-off location.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
