Duration: 09:00 hours

Description

Enjoy one of the most scenic drives in the world with a local guide. Take in the views of the Cape of God Hope and learn about local history and culture with stops in picturesque and quaint towns.
Meet your local guide at a local coffee spot to begin your adventure. After meeting your group, head to the East side of the Cape Peninsula. Spend your day exploring quaint villages and pristine beaches, and discovering local secrets.

Your first stop is the beautiful St. James Beach which is famous for its funky, colorful houses. Next stop is the beautiful fishing village of Kalk Bay where you can visit the Empire Café for a barista tasting, local art galleries, fashion boutiques, Cape Fur Seals, the iconic Kalkies for some local Fish and Chips, and more.

From here make your way to the beautiful Boulders Beach to see African Penguins. While the big tour busses focus their groups on the viewing deck, we'll be making our way onto the secret beaches. Guests will be given more than enough time to meet the penguins up close, enjoy some cold, local kombucha's & hop into the water for a refreshing swim!

After lunch, we'll make our way to Cape Point Reserve & the iconic lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic views, a picnic lunch on the beach & full tasting of some local craft beer!

Lastly, it's time for Chapmans Peak Drive where we'll stop at a truly breathtaking sunset spot to end the day in style by sharing a craft, local gin & tonic tasting with our new friends.

Guests will be dropped off at 2 Hill Road, Greenpoint (same as pick-up)

Highlights: St. James beach and the colourful houses (photo opportunity), Kalk Bay (local fish and chips), Boulders Beach penguin colony (viewing deck and beach walk), Cape Point hike (lighthouse and cliff lookout), Cape of Good Hope, picnic & local craft beer tasting at Buffels Beach, Chapmans Peak Drive & viewpoint (sundowners at sunset lookout spot - local gin and tonic tasting) and much much more!
