Upon arrival at Los Volcanes National Park, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious optional breakfast before getting ready for the exciting tour.
The tour begins with a descent of approximately 1,200 steps from Cerro Verde, a stretch that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area and takes you to the base of the imposing Izalco Volcano. From this point, the real challenge begins: the ascent of a volcano with an incline of 45 degrees and an altitude of 1,960 meters above sea level. The hike is of intermediate difficulty, ideal for adventurers looking for a challenging and rewarding experience.
As you climb, you will witness a unique volcanic landscape, characterized by black rocks and ashes that narrate the geological history of the place. At the top, the views will take your breath away: the majestic Lake Coatepeque, the Pacific Ocean and neighboring volcanoes spread out before you like a gift of nature. You will have time to explore, take photos and listen to fascinating stories from your guide about the history and legends of this iconic volcano.
After enjoying the summit, you will make your way back down the volcano and back up the 1,200 steps to Cerro Verde. At the end, you will have the option to enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants with spectacular views of Lake Coatepeque, a perfect way to close this unforgettable experience.

Pickup Times: Exact pickup times will be confirmed upon booking. Please be ready at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
