Kingstown: La Soufriere Volcano Hike

Hike the La Soufriere Volcano and enjoy the a breathtaking, panoramic birds-eye view of the Leeward coast of St. Vincent. With an elevation of 4049 feet above sea level, it is the highest peek on the island and offers views to St. Lucia.

You will then pass through Georgetown and making a quick photo stop at the Rabacca Dry River. Georgetown is located on the island of Saint Vincent and is the largest city in Charlotte Parish, with a population of about 1,700. You will then encounter the Rabacca Dry River, which is a seasonal river which will only flow like a normal river when there is heavy rainfall.

Finally, you will discover the La Soufriere Cross Country Trail, which winds its way from sea level up to the top of the majestic La Soufriere Volcano at 4,049 feet. There you can admire the granite cliffs which reach for the sky, giving way to sweeping valleys and deep gorges, before you eventually reach the immense volcanic crater.
