An outdoors safari experience that takes you to Akagera for the 2 days, big 5 game drive. Camping at the highest pick of Akagera for the panoramic view of the park's mesmerising landscape.
Enjoy the full wildlife experience. Day game drive for the big 5 viewing in the natural habitat, an overnight in the middle of the jungle with outdoors fun activities including the bushfire, stories, serenity, fresh air and the wildlife southing sounds. you'll wake up by the roaring of the lions, singing birds to name a few. Watching the sunset at the highest pick of the akagera mountains, you get the best view of the beautiful akagera national park.

Day 1.
The pick up is 9AM after the breakfast.
Transfer to Akagera national park. Enjoy the road scenic view of the country of Thousand hills. Feel free to ask the driver guide for a stopover to take a picture. There is also a cosy coffee shop to stop by and grab something if you have skipped your breakfast.

Arriving at the park, we shall start the game drive right away or go for a boat ride for the aquatic wildlife viewing. The hippos, crocodile, elephants and a number of birds species. The game drive ends at 5-6pm.

Relax at the Mutumba pick point for the sunset watching and enjoy the best views of the park landscape.
Set up our camping tents and prepare the dinner.
Set up the bushfire and enjoy your outdoors overnight.

Day 2
Early morning game drive, meeting the animals while they are going to look for water to drink around the lakes.
Continues on a full day game drive that takes up to 6 hours. We shall be expectant to see the big five and other wildlife such as Lions, Rhinos, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Antelopes, leopard, Baboons, among others. Akagera National park is a varied habitat for wildlife species in Rwanda and a birders haven with more than 500 bird species in the park.
You will have your picnic lunch and then exit the park through the northern gate to start the journey back to Kigali.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
