Embark on a 2-day gorilla trekking tour in Rwanda. Visit the Dian Fossey Fund and the Volcanoes National Park. See the gorillas and golden monkeys in their natural habitat.
Day 1:
After an early breakfast at your hotel in Kigali, you will be picked up from your hotel by your driver guide and depart for Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at the park, proceed to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing about the does and don’ts of the tracking activity.
Be assigned rangers in different groups and embark on tracking the gorillas. Once gorillas are sighted, spend an hour watching your closest long-lost cousins. After, embark on your return from the park and proceed to your lodge.
After lunch, go for a tour of the Dian Fossey Museum to get a visit to the history about Dian Fossey and the gorillas before you embark on your return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
After an early breakfast at your lodge, proceed to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for yet another briefing about the does and don’ts when tracking the golden monkey after which proceed for the experience.
Spend an hour watching and studying their behavior once you sight them and embark on your transfer back to Kigali with lunch enroute and be dropped off at the airport for your flight to your next destination.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
