Embark on a 2-day gorilla trekking tour from Kigali, Rwanda. Visit the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and see the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.


Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Arrive at Kigali International Airport and meet your driver-guide. Enjoy the 4-hour drive with spectacular views of the Rwanda's rolling hills, the virunga volcanoes and the beautiful Kisoro green villages.


On arrival in Kisoro, have a cultural visit to the indigenous Batwa, Boat cruise on Lake Mutanda, Coffee farm tour, if time and weather allows.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Departure
Depending on the tracking location booked either Mgahinga Gorilla National Park or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, depart the lodge and with your packed lunch transfer to the tracking trail head for a pre-gorilla trekking briefing. You will be grouped with other 7 travelers and allocated a gorilla family.

At 8:00 AM, hike into the jungle to meet the gorillas. This hike may be short or long depending on the location of the gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, spend an hour in their presence, enjoy their human-like characters, take photos, capture videos, and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Hike back to the lodge, refresh, and transfer back to Kigali for your return flight.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
