Day 1: Akagera National Park Game Drive
Breakfast followed by a game drive in the park. Explore the best of eastern Rwanda. You will take some final pictures of the various animals, like the big five animals in Africa (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros), and enjoy the views before exiting the park for lunch. Transfer to Kigali.
Overnight at the hotel.
Main destination: Akagera National Park
Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive into Nyungwe Forest National Park. On the way, you will visit Nyanza King’s Palace, Ethnographic Museum (National Museum of Rwanda), and Murambi genocide memorial.
Day 3: End of Trip with Chimpanzees Tracking
After breakfast, you will enter the Nyungwe Forest to track the chimpanzee. A walk into the forest with our knowledgeable guides, well versed in botany, ornithology, and interspecies relationships, will be a whole new learning experience, and we will drive back to Kigali.
Main destination: Nyungwe Forest National Park, End of tour
