Embark on a one-day adventure trip to Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. After an early morning breakfast from your hotel in Kigali, your driver guide will pick you up to drive for about 2.5 hours to arrive at Kinigi Volcanoes National Park to be introduced with the senior ranger guide to lead you for your hiking adventure.
Transfer to the trailhead and the adventure begins climbing to the summit of Mount Bisoke. It’s an extinct volcano that stretches the border of Rwanda & Democratic Republic of Congo with a crater lake on the top.
Depending on the fitness it may take about 4/2 hours to be on the summit and back. During the hike there’s some chance to meet other resident animals in the forest like the buffaloes, gorillas & more.
After the trekking adventure, if time allows, stop by the Dian Fossey Research Center/Gorilla Museum and then drive back to Kigali to mark the end of the Mount Bisoke hiking adventure.

We will be picking you up from your hotel within Kigali. Also option for pickup from other cities within Rwanda & Uganda are available.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
