Start your journey bright and early from Bucharest, with the scenic drive to the Carpathian Mountains taking about 2 hours.
1. Peles Castle - Sinaia
Your first stop Sinaia, dominated by a magnificent Neo-Renaissance gem, the Peles Castle, surrounded by lush forests. Built in the late 19th century, Peles Castle offers a glimpse into Romania’s royal history. Take a tour of its opulent rooms, admire the ornate woodwork, and capture photos of its fairytale-like towers. Or just enjoy it’s remarkable architecture and surroundings.
2. Bran Castle - Bran
Next, head to the famous Bran Castle, about an hour’s drive from Peles. Known as "Dracula’s Castle," Bran’s Gothic appearance and dramatic hilltop setting create a mysterious allure.
