Description
Over the course of 2.5 hours you will have the opportunity to learn, experiment, and train basic knowledge whilst sailing in a modern racing boat. It will be an individual class in which the skipper will have their attention fully focused on you.
After meeting with your skipper and boat at the pier, your sailing adventure will begin. Throughout your experience various maneuvers and functions will be presented to you, as you coast along the magnificent scenery that is the Douro River and the Atlantic Ocean.
Throughout the lesson, your skipper will tell you everything you need to know about sailing a sloop boat. You'll get to try various functions on board, learning how to sail against the wind (upwind), with wind from the side (reaching), and downwind.
All the while, you will be enjoying the beautiful landscape around you and the unforgettable scenery of Porto and Gaia. It is never too late to start learning, and Porto is surely the ideal place to embrace this new passion.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
