After listening to feedback from our students in previous cooking classes, we realized there’s a lack of vegan and vegetarian options that truly showcase the essence of Portuguese cuisine. Inspired by their thoughts and stories, we’ve created this special experience to ensure visitors to our country can savor some of its culinary wonders without compromise!
What’s on the Menu?
• Vegetable Pataniscas: A plant-based twist on the beloved Pataniscas de Bacalhau, these crispy vegetable fritters are packed with flavor and tradition.
• Mushroom Açorda: A hearty reinterpretation of the Alentejo classic, traditionally made with meats, now transformed into a comforting dish featuring mushrooms and Portuguese bread.
• Vegetable à Brás: Inspired by Bacalhau à Brás, this dish swaps codfish for vibrant vegetables, combined with crispy potatoes and a creamy base, all tied together with a touch of Portuguese flair.
• A Typical Portuguese Dessert: To complete your meal, enjoy a delicious dessert made with seasonal ingredients, carefully selected to highlight traditional flavors.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
