This journey occurs in Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, a remarkable park in the northeastern region of São Miguel Island (approximately a 45-minute drive from Ponta Delgada city). After we arrive, we will give you your personal gear and then take a brief walk of approximately 15 minutes to our initial destination for our first safety briefing.
During the journey, you will encounter vertical obstacles at waterfalls that can be overcome using abseiling techniques. The tallest waterfall measures 8 meters high. With some brief walking sections in between, there is also a fun spot featuring a 5-meter slide and jump.

It is advisable to maintain an average level of physical fitness. This excursion may involve navigating through uneven surfaces, slippery rocks, muddy inclines, and minor uphill and downhill sections.
- Knowing how to swim is not necessary, simply feel at ease in the water. Nonetheless, inform us if such is the situation.
- People with back problems are advised against participating in this activity. When making a reservation, please inform us of any past injuries, medical conditions, or health issues.

- The care of children falls under the supervision of an adult.

- The harness can accommodate a maximum waist circumference of 1.40 meters (55 inches).

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
