Join the fun - fuelled beginner’s surf lesson and experience the thrill of catching your first waves. Get to know surf basics under the eye of qualified surf instructors.
Learn how to surf in the middle of the Atlantic in small groups.
We meet directly at the beach, we choose to go to place where conditions are best on that day, we will share the meeting spot with you one day prior to the activity.
After putting on wetsuits and grabbing boards, we head to the sand where after the warm up, the surf instructor explain the basics of surfing, equipment and safety rules.
In the water each student gets personalized attention to help you stand on the board. We might get out of the water to correct some mistakes, practice paddling and pop up which will help you progress faster.
It may be your first time or you are looking to refresh your surfing skills, we will help you build up your knowledge and gain confidence, all while having fun.

The location will be send to guests one day prior to the activity.
No prior surfing experience required.
Suitable for beginners of all ages.
We meet directly at the beach. The meeting spot is sent to guests one day prior to the activity. On arrival look for a white van that says black sand box on the back.
The most common beaches we surf are milícias beach on the south coast as well as Monte Verde beach and Santa Barbara beach on the north coast.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
