Description

Experience cultural Kazimierz, Krakow's former Jewish district, on this guided walking tour. Learn about its history as you discover galleries and street art, beautiful synagogues, and a flea market.
Most of Kazimierz is full of tourists, expensive restaurants and cozy hotels. You will find tons of galleries and antique shops. There are also beautifully preserved synagogues and Christian churches. And a whole lot of food trucks, cafes, street stalls with aromatic smells spreading around. There is also a lot of colorful street art and neglected, even deterrent tenement houses ... Thousands of scenes in hundreds of films were shot here.
Kazimierz, however, is thoroughly permeated with the culture, history and life of Jews. Those who founded this city centuries ago formed a closed community and died in the Holocaust.
Follow your guide along the famous Szeroka Street with Remu and the Old Synagogue, old city walls and tenement houses, towards Nowy Square and Podgórze where the ghetto was located during World War II.
Explore and feel the legacy of Jewish culture that remains hidden in the maze of streets in a fashionable district.
