On this tour, we will introduce you to Warsaw. Through the most important sights within the borders of the Unesco World Heritage area, you will receive an overview of the city: past and present.
This tour explores the mediaeval core of Warsaw: the Old Town, the first settlement, since 1980 the Unesco World Heritage Area, and situated beyond the city walls, the so-called New Town - the second oldest district of Warsaw. The tour covers a wide array of topics ranging from life in a mediaeval city to the WW2 destruction and post-war reconstruction, carried out under the communist regime. The 2-hour walk is packed with historical knowledge as well as fun facts, legends and anecdotes. Through the most important sights within the borders of the Unesco World Heritage area like the Royal Castle, Saint John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market, mediaeval city walls and the New Town you will receive an overview of the city: past and present.
