Description

Discover the dynamic allure of Kazimierz, Kraków’s Jewish Quarter. Immerse yourself in its history, culture , and eclectic cafes, experiencing its unique and vibrant atmosphere.
There were times, throughout most recent history when Krakow did not seem all that multicultural and diverse. This tour will demonstrate how multicultural and diverse Krakow and Poland used to be in the past and what happened in Poland to have transformed our country into what it looks like these days.

Did you know that in the 16th century most of the world's Jewish population lived in Poland (around 75%)? Poland is very significant in the history of the world's Jews. Let me take you on an informative journey through the history of Jewish people in Poland.

We started doing this tour as it is impossible to separate the lives and the history of Jews and Christians in Krakow. Kazimierz these days is referred to as a Jewish District however over many centuries it was a place of coexistence of both of these cultures.

Find out where their history began back in the 11th century and why Jewish people ever chose the country of Poland for their settlements.
