Puerto Princesa Underground River Tour on a budget Private tour without lunch

Enjoy a no-frills tour of the Underground River in Puerto Princesa. You can dine at your restaurant of choice during lunch time to savor more of the local cuisine.
This tour starts in downtown Puerto Princesa, where your tour guide will pick you up in the morning. After picking up all the other participants, you'll embark on a 90-minute drive to Sabang. This tiny community located northwest of Puerto Princesa City is where you will start your boat ride to the mouth of the cave.

While your guide processes the paperwork, you can take pictures of the beach or mingle with the locals. Ambulant vendors will try to sell you their wares; please feel free to decline if you choose not to buy from them. Your guide will let you know once your group is ready to board the motorboat. The motorboat ride will take about 20 minutes in total. You'll see wild animals flourish at the beach near the cave entrance. Be careful not to bring any food or shiny objects, as wild monkeys may snatch them away. There are also monitor lizards roaming the jungle and other wild animals.

The whole tour inside the cave will last about 45 minutes. Before entering, you will be provided with an audio device that you can use inside the cave. You'll also be given a helmet to use. After the tour, you'll head back to Sabang Wharf for lunch.

At the beach, you can choose among the restaurants where you want to eat. Your tour guide will let you know where to meet after lunch. Head to the location on time to stay caught up. Also, if any other participants book a side activity, you can sign up for it or wait while they do it.

You'll head back to your hotel in Puerto Princesa in the afternoon.
