Itinerary:
The westernmost area of Alto Mayo, the closest to the province of Amazonas, is home to two of the most beautiful natural wonders in all of San Martín. These are the aguajales of Santa Elena and the caves of Palestine.
• On this tour we will visit them both, starting very early in the morning with the aguajales of Santa Elena. This place is a swampy nature reserve filled with small rivers
• During our 2h visit on this natural reserve, we travel by canoe and we will be able to see the abundant biodiversity of the area. Being an area not so exploited by tourists, you will be able to enjoy nature in its most virgin state.
• Afterwards we will go to lunch and in the afternoon we will take a walk through the caves of Palestine.
• Upon arrival we will dress with the necessary equipment, boots and a helmet with a light on the front, and we will take a walk of around an hour and a half through the interior of its grottoes and caverns.
