Description
Embark on a one-day adventure visiting the mysterious burial site of the Sarcophagus and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the Utcubamba lookout point.
Please make your reservation months in advance.
9:00 AM: We will begin our excursion by picking you up at your hotel near the Plaza de Armas. From there, we will drive to the picturesque village of Cruz Pata.
Exploration in Cruz Pata: We will hike to the impressive burial site of the Karajia Sarcophagi, where we will admire the funerary statues and natural formations such as stalagmites and stalactites.
Lunch at Lamud: Afterwards, we will head to Lamud to enjoy a delicious lunch.
Utcubamba Canyon viewpoint: After lunch, we will continue our tour to the Utcubamba Canyon viewpoint. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the river, the Gocta waterfall and other impressive landscapes.
Return to Chachapoyas: We will conclude the activity and return to the city of Chachapoyas, ending our excursion at the main square around 5:00 PM.
