Full Day Tour to Titicaca Lake in Puno with Typical Lunch

Transfer from the hotel at 6:40 am to the lake port of Puno, to board a motor boat where we will travel to the floating island of the Uros where you will visit for a period of 45 minutes.
We will have a friendly guide in English and Spanish from the starting point who will introduce us to the life of the inhabitants.
The Uros are a very ancient indigenous community, made up of more than 40 islands, which are built with totora reeds by their own inhabitants. These are used for the construction of their homes, boats (rafts), fuel and as food for human consumption. On this excursion, the main island is visited and around 2 or 3 islands are visited for 30 minutes each (with the option of taking the ride in the typical totora boats).
Then they continue traveling towards Taquile Island. Upon arrival they have a 1 hour walk to reach the town.
In Taquile we will stay for 3 hours visiting the place observing the landscape and customs, we will have lunch in a local restaurant where we will have a typical lunch based on trout. We will have free time to explore the island and meet its inhabitants who will show us their way of life through their textiles.
We return to Puno at 2:30 pm, arriving in Puno at 5:00 pm (regular boat) or 3:50 pm approx. (speedboat). Upon arrival at the port, we will be transferred to the hotel.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
