Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco will be at 9:00 PM, where we'll transfer you to the Cusco bus terminal for your journey to Puno.
Travel Details:
Departure: 10:00 PM
Arrival: 5:30 AM (next day)
Upon arrival at the Puno bus station, we'll be there to greet you and take you to enjoy breakfast. Subsequently, around 7:00 AM, we'll pick you up near the main square and escort you to the Puno port. From there, we'll embark on a boat journey to the Uros Islands. These islands are intricately constructed with totora reeds by their inhabitants, serving as their homes, boats, fuel, and even food source.
After the Uros Islands tour, we'll proceed to Taquile Island. A 1-hour walk will lead us to the village, where we'll immerse ourselves in the landscape and local customs. A typical lunch awaits at a local restaurant, followed by free time to explore the island and engage with its inhabitants, who will share insights into their way of life through their weaving traditions.
Finally, we'll return to Puno around 5:00 PM via a regular boat. You'll have the remainder of the afternoon free to explore the city center. In the evening, we'll transfer you to the bus terminal for your journey back to Cusco.
