We will visit the impressive artificial archipelago of the Uros, the floating town of Lake Titicaca.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno at the time you select and we will head to the port, where we will board to begin the journey across Lake Titicaca.
After the boat ride we will arrive at the Floating Islands of the Uros. This surprising artificial archipelago is made up of 40 islands of reeds, a species of reed that grows in the swampy terrain of South America.
We will disembark to learn how the floating islands are built and see up close the lifestyle of the families that inhabit them. In addition, we will discover the origin of the ancestral pre-Inca people of the Uros, direct descendants of one of the first cultures of the Andean highlands.
We will return by boat to the port of Puno, from where we will return to the hotels.
