Arequipa: Colca Canyon Excursion and Transfer to Puno

The Colca Canyon, located within the Colca Valley, considered one of the main tourist destinations in Arequipa, is one of the deepest canyons in the world and its geography presents a great variety of flora and fauna, as well as Andean villages with many traditions. From the viewpoint of the canyon you will be able to observe the flight of condors and beautiful landscapes. It is important to mention that the route includes hiking and the option to relax in thermal baths.

Itinerary:

- We start with an early morning hotel pick up and head south.
- We will arrive at the town of Chivay to enjoy breakfast.
- Then we will go to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint to appreciate the Colca Canyon in all its splendor.
- You will also be able to observe condors, majestic birds, flying over the canyon.
- We will continue the route with a visit to other villages such as Wayrapunko or Antahuillque.
- Towards noon we will go to the thermal baths of Chacapi to enjoy its natural pools.
- Afterwards we will return to Chivay to have lunch on our own and then we will meet up to reach the end of our tour, Puno.
- As we travel we will make some stops at places like the Patapampa viewpoint, the Ampato and Sabancaya volcanoes.
- We will also stop at the Salinas and Lagunillas Reserve, and hopefully we will see some camelids or wild birds of the place.
- We will conclude our tour arriving at the terminal of the city of Puno in the evening.
