A traditional boat ride, stargazing, fishing... On this 2-day excursion to the Uros Islands we will learn about the traditions of this town on Lake Titicaca.
Day 1: Puno - Uros Islands
Between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. we will pick you up at the meeting point in Puno and head to the port. There a traditional boat will be waiting for us that will take us on an hour-long excursion around Lake Titicaca. You will fall in love with the landscape!
After this fantastic journey, we will arrive at the artificial islands of the Uros, which, by the way, are made with the same material as the boats: reeds. ¿Do not you know what it is? We will reveal it to you as we approach the accommodation where we will spend the night. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and, after resting a little, we will take a tour of almost two hours through this curious archipelago.
We will immerse ourselves in the culture of the Uros as we watch them weave, fish and much more. As evening falls, we will enjoy a magical sunset and, after dinner, we will light a bonfire and watch the stars. It will be a truly unforgettable night!
Important: the bonfire will only be held under favorable weather conditions.
Day 2: Uros Islands - Puno
On the second day, after breakfast, you will have free time to admire the landscape, tour the island or purchase a piece of local crafts. Afterwards, we will board a boat that will take us back to Puno.
We will end the excursion at 12:00 p.m., leaving you at the starting point.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
