Tambopata Jungle 2D: | Visit to Monkey Island + Caimans |

Embark on an exciting adventure in the Tambopata jungle, where we will explore Monkey Island by kayak and venture out in search of caimans, among other fascinating activities.
ITINERARY:

- DAY 1: KAYAKING ADVENTURE, MONKEY ISLAND AND CAIMAN SIGHTING
• We will start this exciting excursion from our meeting point at 9:30 a.m. We will travel by boat on the Madre de Dios River until we reach our lodge. Upon arrival, we will receive a refreshing local fruit drink and detailed information about the planned activities.
• After settling in, we will explore the jungle on a walk to discover ancient trees and, if we are lucky, spot animals such as monkeys, birds and insects.
• Lunch will be served at 1:00 pm.
• Next, we will enjoy a kayaking experience on the Madre de Dios River until we reach Monkey Island, where we can interact with a family of monkeys.
• In the evening, we will venture on a night walk along the river in search of caimans as they hunt.
• After the activity, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and optionally participate in the campfire, where we will share fascinating stories of the jungle.
• Overnight at the lodge.

- DAY 2: EXPLORATION OF SANDOVAL LAKE AND RETURN TO THE CITY:
• We will start the day early with a delicious breakfast and prepare to leave for Sandoval Lake. The journey will include a 3 kilometer hike through mineral-rich palm Collpas, where we will hopefully observe macaws licking these palms.
• Upon arrival at the lake, we will explore the area and have the opportunity to observe various animals in their natural habitat, such as coto monkeys, turtles, black caimans, giant otters, among others.
• Lunch scheduled for 12:30 pm.
• Return to the city at 4:30 p.m. to conclude our expedition.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
