Tambopata Jungle 2D | Monkey Island &Caiman Search |

Embark on a jungle adventure in Tambopata. We'll visit Monkey Island by kayak and also embark on a search for caimans, among other activities.
Day 1: Kayaking + Monkey Island + Caiman Spotting
- Our excursion begins from our meeting point at 9:30 a.m. We'll travel by boat along the Madre de Dios River to our lodge. Upon arrival, we'll be greeted with a local fruit drink and receive information about the day's activities.
- After settling in, we'll take a jungle walk to see ancient trees and possibly encounter animals such as monkeys, birds, and insects.
- Lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m.
- Next, we'll kayak on the Madre de Dios River to Monkey Island, where we can interact with a family of monkeys.
- In the evening, we'll embark on a nocturnal river walk to search for caimans as they come out to hunt.
- Following the activity, a delicious dinner awaits us, with the optional campfire session where jungle stories will be shared.
- We'll spend the night at the lodge.

Day 2: Sandoval Lake - Return to the City
- We'll start early with a delicious breakfast and prepare to head to Sandoval Lake. To get there, we'll walk 3 kilometers through mineral-rich palm collpas, where we might see macaws licking the minerals.
- Upon reaching the lake, we'll have time to explore the area and observe various animals in their natural habitat, including howler monkeys, turtles, black caimans, giant otters, and more.
- Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
- We'll return to the city at 4:30 p.m.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
