Join us for an exhilarating trip to the stunning Lake Yacumama, where you can marvel at one of the most spectacular sunsets you have ever witnessed and admire local wildlife in their natural habitat.
The adventure will start at 3:30 pm from our meeting point. We will travel in a motorized vehicle for about 20 minutes by road until we reach the entry point. From there, we will take a short walk of approximately 7 minutes until we reach the shore of the lake, where a canoe will be waiting for us. We will navigate the serene waters of the lake, the former bed of the Madre de Dios River, now surrounded by lush vegetation and lined with palm trees of aguajales, home even to the majestic macaws that come to roost. We will have the opportunity to fish for piranhas, always respecting the natural balance by returning them to the water after the experience. Afterwards, we will delight in one of the most sublime sunsets, enjoying the panoramic views offered by the exuberant vegetation that surrounds the lake. Finally, we will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado, arriving at around 6:30 pm.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
